1. The Technology Leadership Day
2000 organised by APTE Association
and MICROSWISS Network on October 10 at the Rapperswil Technical
University was a great success. Over 400 specialists from various
fields of Technology and Business attended. Over 50 sponsors and
exhibitors from Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Austria and the UK
contributed to a day of conferences and networking. The Swiss
government sent a letter of good wishes and the keynote address
was given by Dr. Rama Shukla of Intel, California.

7. M-Business 2000, Europe's
Wireless Enterprise Event on the
topic "Deploying an enterprise-wide wireless strategy" will
take place in Brussels on December 6-7, 2000. This is the

8. The EPFL in Lausanne is jointly

12. The Third International
Workshop on Smart Card Technologies and Applications will take place on
